Country homes are the main stay of America. Just because it says traditional it does not mean there's nothing new going on here. Lots of designers to choose from, and many plan books specific to Country Homes are listed to the left and in the library.

Typical country house plans were designed to build dwelling meant for large families. County homes were very simple and built in the most economical ways. Country homes almost always blend natural materials - strong hand-cut woods, and chipped stone available from nature, giving country homes a characteristic rustic but homey feel.

The exterior of a country house plan is very plain. The exterior of a country house has the least ornament of all the house plan styles. However, country homes still take care in the symmetrical beauty of the country home. Windows, shutters, roof and porch are all designed symmetrically and give country homes their trademark welcoming and cherry exterior.
