Deck Umbrellas

Deck umbrellas are great in providing shade and will better cool you off during warm summer days. Whether you eat, work or entertain an umbrella is a must have for any deck.

Deck umbrellas can be found over dining tables, where they sit perfectly in hole at the centre of the table and are secured at the bottom by a base. Deck umbrellas are often offered as part of a patio table set but many can be bought separately.

To keep the umbrella from being blown away many will come with a weight or a base that anchors the umbrella in place. Umbrella bases are usually, round, hollow and plastic and they have a hole so you can easily fill it with sand or water.

Deck umbrellas usually come with a crank near the top of the pole which after you turn it, it opens and closes the umbrella either all the way or partially. Most umbrellas have been designed to easily fold up for travel or storage.
